FREE SKY TV AND VIRGIN MEDIA TV FROM PLACE GROUP UK AND LONDON STUDENT HOUSING GROUP
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
SKY TV and Virgin Media TV are now BOTH included FREE OF CHARGE in our all inclusive package in addition to the normal Freeview Digital TV channels.
These services are fully installed and working from day one, with no set up costs or hassle and each site has all the necessary equipment and data cabling already installed and professionally maintained to enable our students to simply move in and immediately start enjoying all the services that SKY and Virgin Media have to offer, with no need to set up accounts nor be credit scored.
Students can also enjoy 'on demand' services (such as BBC i Player) direct to their communal room TV with no need to install any additional equipment or use their laptops/tablets.
Unlike many other housing suppliers, our services (and the necessary cabling and equipment) are all genuinely included and on site from day one with no extra hassle involved. We dont simply give you a "cashback" and then ask you to set these services up yourself.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE STUDENT SITE TV PACKAGE:
The following are all included for no additional charge:
1. TV Licence covering all use [including viewing live TV on laptops and other students’ own devices]
2. Flat Screen TV to every study bedroom
3. Flat Screen 32" HDTV to communal room
4. Freeview Digital TV package to every study bedroom and to communal room
5. SKY TV package to communal room
6. Virgin Media TV package to communal room
7. Some sites now feature Sony Bravia TV screens
8. Professional back up from Ward Aerials, one of North London's longest established companies
WHAT ABOUT PREMIUM TV SERVICES:
If you wish us to add premium services (such as Sky Sports) to your SKY TV or Virgin Media TV packages, we can do this, but this would incur an extra charge. Nonetheless because you would only pay for the cumulative “extra” sum for the months during which the premium services were added, and because these services would be charged to our own account with SKY or Virgin Media (and then be charged by Place Group directly to you at cost with no mark up or administration fee) adding these services will be hassle free (avoiding the need for our students to set up accounts with SKY and/ or Virgin Media, incur minimum subscription periods and be credit scored) and offer outstanding value for money.
